POLA LAAMANEN
EMBROIDERY AND TEXTILE ARTIST

Polina Laamanen (b.1989) in St.Petersburg, Russia is an embroidery and textile artist based in Vantaa, Finland since 2020. She creates one-of-a-kind hand stitched artworks using threads and hand modified textile. She wrote a book about volume embroidery that was published by EKSMO in August 2020.
She creates one of a kind hand stitched artworks and original ebooks and tutorials.
Over the years Polina established her own recognisable embroidery style where thread painting is combined with hand modified textile. All collected experience Polina shared in series of online workshops with over 3000 participants. At the moment Polina is working on collection of artworks which combine Scandinavian graphics and realistic botanical embroidery as well as embroidered eyewear and jewelry.
JENNA LAINE
WATERCOLOR PAINTER / INK DRAWING
Jenna Laine (b.1992 in Turku) is a Finnish watercolour, ink and print artist based in Helsinki. Her artistic journey began with a background in textiles before she transitioned into the world of visual art.
Jenna works in different mediums, primarily watercolour and ink, but the common theme across her work is the consistent focus on delicate attention to detail. Drawing inspiration from familiar places and ordinary everyday moments, the art invites the viewer to explore cityscapes and discover beauty even in familiar landscapes.
Jenna´s work has been exhibited in group exhibitions since 2019.
"My art captures everyday moments, emphasizing details and slow processes. I aim to evoke positive memories and imagery in those who view it."
ARINA LEBEDEVA
ARTIST
Arina Lebedeva was born in Leningrad(St. Petersburg )in 1971.She finished both music and French schools. She played Russian folk instruments with her school's ensemble in
various St. Petersburg theaters, including the Shostakovich Philharmonia and the Capella Theatre. When her art began to require more time, she studied western European art for two years at the Hermitage Museum, and she received her art degree from the Repin Academy of Art. She now has experience with miniature art over the past 30 years.
Arina has an unwavering positive attitude, and her desire is that her art would bring joy to people. She paints light, bright scenes, which convey her own love of animals and architecture. She paints with foxtail brushes of one to three hairs. All work on the boxes and bells is hand-painted. The boxes are made by hand.
EILA LEONOFF
VISUAL ARTIST AND SCULPTOR
Finnish visual artist and sculptor Eila Leonoff finds inspiration from beautiful moments with friends, walking in the wild, from photography and the sun. Colors and passionate people have an especially strong influence on Eila's work. She has a specific talent in forming captivating abstract oil paintings and fine sculptures out of marble. She studied several forms of art at the University of art and design Helsinki and now owns the Weekend Gallery, a place to work an exhibit. She was the chairman of HIAA from 2015-2017 and she visits Italy every year to teach marble carving and to make her own new sculptures.

HONG LIU-SERTTI
PAINTER, STAMP ARTIST, PHOTOGRAPHY
Hong is from Guangzhou, China but now has Finnish Citizenship and is rooted in Finland. She is a professional artist, art educator and gallerist of Galleria Kookos.
Her art has been exhibited in Europe, Asia, North America and Africa in such prestigious places as the Lingnan Art museum, Satellite Art Fair of Art Basel Miami Beach as well as the Art Salon in Louvre Museum with the Theme of Freedom achieved from harmony of mankind and mankind with nature.
The key element in her art is birds as metaphor of freedom, universal love and unity.
MOE LOUANJLI
VISUAL ARTIST, DESIGNER, EDUCATOR
A Helsinki-based visual artist, designer and educator. LOUANJLI holds a PhD from the Queensland College of Art and Design - Griffith University, an MPhil of Visual Arts from the University of Paris 1, Panthéon-Sorbonne, and an MFA from the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
"My interdisciplinary practice includes code, photography, print, sound and creative writing. My realisations are shaped by computational aesthetics and academic research exploring the impact of the digital universe, microprocessors, artificial intelligence, aerial imagery, speed and war on the human condition. Awards: the Australian Postgraduate Award, The Gerald Frank Brown Scholarship, the Maurice Colin-Lefranc Prize and the Ouvrez l'Art contest. My work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions, and features in private and public collections."
