APPLY FOR MEMBERSHIP

HIAA IS AN ASSOCIATION OPEN TO ALL ARTISTS AND
ARTISANS LIVING IN FINLAND.

REQUIREMENTS TO BECOME A MEMBER.

​

  • You must live in Finland.

  • You must be 18 years of age or older

  • We ask from our artists professionalism and proficiency and authenticity in their art and practices.

  • You must be able to show us a sample of your work via a website, social media or photos

 

YEARLY MEMBERSHIP FEE:  40€

Memberships are valid for a calendar year from February.

The fee includes the following benefits:

  • A digital membership card

  • 5-20% discount at Tempera Art Shop (With membership card)

  • 15% off all art supplies at Taiteilijatarvike, Hämeentie 2, 00530 Helsinki. (With membership card)

  • A discount on a variety of Art Museums

  • Free entrance to a variety of museums with a Union of Finnish Art Association card

  • Participation in HIAA group exhibitions, markets, brunches, and meetups (etc.)

  • Your own Artist Spotlight on the HIAA website

  • Possibility of Social Media and Website Features

  • Membership in the  Union of Finnish Art Associations

**Applications are accepted throughout the year, however, application reviews are conducted and accepted by the board during the following periods:

March 17th - April 20th, 2025 (May 2025) 
July 14th - August 17th, 2025 (September 2025)
December 15th, 2025 - January 18th, 2026 (February 2026)

For members

The digital membership cards will become available after your application has been reviewed and approved and you have paid your annual fee.

 

Your new digital HIAA card
To access your digital HIAA member card and artist union card:
- Download the Gruppo id app on your phone (Google play or App store).
- Register a new account using the name and e-mail address you provided to HIAA.
Your HIAA member card will be available on the app.
